Terms of Service

BibleFact provides one sourced fact about the Bible each day, with a short explanation and the passage, manuscript, or published source it rests on. The Service may include:

• A daily featured fact across subjects such as history, languages, manuscripts, people, places, and archaeology
• Facts delivered according to the notification frequency you select
• Search, browsing by book, collections, saved favorites, and on-device reading history
• Facts in the reading languages we support, which may change over time
• Reactions on individual facts
• Optional accounts that sync favorites across signed-in devices
• Optional reminders, notifications, Home Screen or Lock Screen widgets on supported devices, and subscription features

You may browse BibleFact without an account. To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old or meet the minimum age required in your country. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

When using BibleFact, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
• Interfere with, damage, overload, or disrupt the Service or another user's access
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions
• Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use automated systems to scrape, copy, or extract content at scale without written permission
• Transmit malware, harmful code, or content that infringes another person's rights
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with BibleFact or Logesta Labs LLC
• Present BibleFact content as the teaching or official position of a denomination, congregation, or religious body

BibleFact is free to download and use, with optional paid subscription features. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are also subject to the applicable store terms.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through your app store account settings. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the store where you purchased it. Deleting your BibleFact account or removing the app does not cancel an active subscription. Refunds are handled according to the applicable app store rules.

BibleFact and its original text, design, software, collections, and other materials are owned by Logesta Labs LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Quoted scripture, translations, critical editions, images, and other source material remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used as short citations so you can look the passage up yourself.

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for non-commercial purposes. You may share individual facts using BibleFact sharing features. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit BibleFact content in bulk without written permission.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in that policy.

BibleFact is an independent publication of Logesta Labs LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced on behalf of any denomination, church, ministry, seminary, or religious body, and it does not argue for one reading of the text over another.

The Service covers the history, languages, manuscripts, geography, and culture of the Bible, reports what the sources say, and states plainly where scholars disagree. Facts are chosen for what can be sourced, not to support or challenge any belief. Nothing in the Service is pastoral, theological, devotional, or spiritual counsel, and it is not a substitute for guidance from your own religious community or from a qualified professional.

We work from critical editions of the Hebrew and Greek text, standard lexicons and reference works, peer-reviewed biblical scholarship, and published archaeological reports. Scholarly consensus, dating, and readings can change as new evidence and editions appear. We do not guarantee that every fact, explanation, translation, chapter and verse reference, or source citation is complete, current, or free from error. We may correct, update, or remove content at any time.

BibleFact is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional, as an academic citation of record, or as the sole basis for an important decision.

The Service may include links to third-party websites, source material, reference works, app stores, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's terms and policies.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of BibleFact. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Features may differ by device, platform, country, language, subscription status, or app version.

Widget refreshes and notification delivery may be delayed, limited, or interrupted by the operating system, network, or push-delivery services.

You may stop using BibleFact at any time and may delete your account from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Logesta Labs LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Logesta Labs LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for BibleFact, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Logesta Labs LLC is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where the consumer protection laws of your place of residence require otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

We may update these terms as BibleFact changes or as required by law. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use of the Service after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
